HUMAN HEARTBEAT AI · GOVERNED WORK
From draft to impact.
With human judgement at every step.
AI can help us create faster, examine more, test assumptions and surface things a person might otherwise miss.
But capability is not authority.
The Content Review Board is a visual operating model for keeping those two things separate.
It shows work moving through a governed sequence:
Draft → AI Review → Human Reply → Decision → Published
At every stage, something different is being asked of the technology — and something different remains the responsibility of a person.
What you are looking at
On the left is the board.
It makes the state of work visible.
Nothing simply disappears into an AI conversation and reappears later as organisational truth. You can see what is being reviewed, what requires clarification, what has received human input, what is awaiting a decision and what has moved into use.
On the right is the record of one piece of work.
That is where its journey becomes inspectable.
AI analysis can be seen.
Human challenge can be seen.
The decision can be seen.
And once something becomes consequential, the person taking responsibility can be seen too.
Why the stages matter
Draft
An idea exists. It has not yet earned authority.
AI Review
AI examines the work and surfaces questions, gaps, risks and possible improvements. It advises.
Human Reply
A person adds context, experience, disagreement and consequence. The work encounters reality.
Decision
A named person determines what happens next. Responsibility becomes explicit.
Published
The approved version enters use and retains a traceable history. The record remains accountable after the conversation ends.
«The more consequential the work becomes, the more visible human responsibility should become.»
This is not governance as paperwork added after AI has finished.
It is governance as part of how the work moves.
The objective is not to constrain intelligence.
It is to make intelligence useful without losing ownership of what follows from it.
You want to understand the whole model before entering an individual stage.
